The Southampton Arts Complex comprises a modern mixed-use leisure scheme, featuring seven hospitality units, a 61,862 sqft (5,747 sqm) arts centre and 38 residential units.

The property is located in Southampton’s Cultural Quarter, in Guildhall Square. It boasts a prominent location with extensive frontage along Above Bar Street and is positioned adjacent to a major thoroughfare leading to East Park. The building’s contemporary and eye-catching exterior guarantees excellent visibility, both from Guildhall Square and Above Bar Street.

Also situated within Guildhall Square is a Theatre and Art Gallery providing a well-equipped auditorium for Mast Mayflower Studio, a home for Southampton University’s John Hansard Gallery, as well the City Eye Institution who supports and develops film culture through its exhibition, film training and production activities.

Through Avignon’s intensive Asset Management work, all units are now fully let and the site boasts a vibrant community of diverse occupants, providing an array of exceptional dining and beverage choices for both local residents and visitors.

Tenants include global restaurant chain Nando’s, as well as Cocktail Bar Grumpy Monkey, Mettricks Coffee, Kaspa’s Dessert House, Hokkaido Sushi, M’ Dim Sum and the recently opened Tsunami Beach Bar.

Michael Lucey, Asset Manager commented “We would like to extend our gratitude to the Savills team for collaborating with us to secure the final letting. The interest for commercial units in Southampton and other key city centre and town locations remains strong and it’s a pleasure to see this fantastic site once again at full occupancy.”
