Avignon Capital Completes Two Transactions in London

Avignon Capital, the European property investment and asset management business, has completed two retail transactions in London.

Avignon has completed the sale of Omega House in Wandsworth. The 10,000 sq ft property comprises an extensive retail showroom which is let to Roche Bobois Roche Bobois is a French retailer of high-end furniture collections, sofas, and accessories.

The property was held by Avignon for several years and has successfully concluded its business plan. The successful transaction was completed in conjunction with CWM and Gateleys.

The second transaction Avignon has completed on is the acquisition of a prime retail unit in St Johns Wood.

St John’s Wood is a highly affluent North West London suburb adjacent to Regents Park. This prominent retail unit is let to Hamptons International and situated on St John’s Wood’s Terrace, a busy retailing location and the dominant estate agency pitch.

This acquisition on behalf of a private investor provided a good opportunity to acquire a quality asset in a great location, providing future rental growth potential. Avignon was advised by Gateley’s and Nightingale Partners.

Despite uncertainty in the market Avignon is still seeing plenty of good opportunities in the UK. Avignon remains fully vested in acquiring new opportunities in the UK and at present remains mandated in search of attractive opportunities for clients.
