Avignon Capital has acquired a heritage building in central Bristol for £1.05m which is 100% occupied at below market rents with the ability to reposition.

35 King Street is a former cork warehouse, built in 1870 and is an example of Bristol Byzantine style. Bristol Byzantine is a variety of Byzantine Revival architecture that was popular in Bristol city in 1850 to 1880.

The Grade II listed building is 6,306 sq ft and houses various creative companies plus a restaurant at basement level.

Bristol is one of the top creative locations in the UK and there is a demand from the creative industries for historic buildings with character.

Avignon are currently repositioning the building and will commence building improvements, focusing on sustainability to ensure the building is environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout the building’s life-cycle.
